Digicam mem card size for taking videos

  Hi, I was wondering if u guys can help me here. I`m using a Canon Powershot A400, with 128mb and I can only record 3 mins of video. So if I were to upgrade to 512mb, will the vid recording be extended to 12 mins? I`m kinda confused cos my manual only says tat it can record only max 3mins with 128mb and it does not say anything if the vid recording time will be longer if I use a bigger mem card.

  Basically, once the memory card space is upgraded, you may take longer video with it as well as take more pictures. You can also call Canon Helpline up

  Just checked out the canon site and my doubts are cleared..thanks..: )
