Without light, we probably be black? I think we all actually already knows that but it just didn't occur to us. When we enter a room with absolutely no light, it all seems very pitch black right? There you go..
If you think that sometimes, after some time our eyes can see some of the things in the room, that's because there are a bit of light in the room, and our eyes take some times to adjust(something to do with the iris or retina getting bigger or something like that) to absorb those little amount of light.
If totally absolutely no light in the room, we can never see anything. Its total pitch black.
