  Think its the ph level imbalance + fungi attack...do go to aquarium shop to seek advice b4 CSI have to be activated.

  Find out what arrowanas eat for breakfast, they can live very long and grow fcuking huge. There is a fish farm at pasir ris and they have one fcuking huge arrowana that's longer than I am tall, and larger than I am wide. Your stomach churns just looking at it top down. You wonder if its going to jump out and swallow you.

  Are you talking about the arowana or the arapaima
  
  Arowana I think Max size is slightly over 2 feet whereas arapaima can go up to 12 feet or mroe

  there is a difference between a arapaima and a arowana.. go to yong peng in malaysia and u can see a real arapaima swimming in a pond outside the restaurant...

  Lol, your ranchu that batch itself may not be good.
  
  Maybe fish in fish farm is heavily drugged so they can never give birth anymore, might be more or less the reason you ranchu died.
  
  Ranchu is in fresh water one, so ph should be around 7 to 8. Anyway did you buy heater? Sometime you need to adjust the temperature to the fish comfort especially when it is sick.
  
  Did you put some dyed medicine inside to stablised the water and heal the fish?
  
  Anyway don't be sad lar... Maybe you can buy some new Ranchu, my friend is selling, can sell you at discounted price if you want, and he can provide better fish rearing stategy to you.
  
  By the way, where u bury ur fish? Inside a big hole??
