i know its unbelievable but in such situations won't hesitate to intervene. It dosen't matter who's wrong or right; no one should be beaten like that.

If you were a witness to this incident and did not intervene, then please accept my condolences to you and your dastardly cowardly family.
But really, its the government that has caused many to be indifferent to the lives around us. -

Its Singapore you know. Even if you are in an accident, no one cares very much about the people but everyone is very interested in the car plate numbers, date and whatever. -

i think most of us have a "not my problem... don't want to get involved and find trouble for myself" attitude... -
maybe that guy is having too much testosterone.....anyway its just a stare once.........unless its staring hard at a person for a long time then warrants some explanation....even so......whats the big deal about that??? picking up a fight like that????huh

but then you might have to consider the circumstances he might be in.......i mean in his personal expereience .......he might have met the same looking guy who did something nasty to him.........i mean this might be some sort of defensive stance he has taken........but then again......i think it doesn't warrant such a brutal attack on someone......does it? -
Rather have a fight to stop this from happenning than a morally corrup situation where everyone minds their own business and is implicitly condoning it.
Who made Singapore society to how it is today? Go figure. -

People rather mind their own buisness and not interfere with the situation as they are afraid of getting into trouble. who knows u may act the same way when u are in the similar situation. but for the guy who beats up the foriegn worker, he may be just another typical ah beng who cant control his emotion and getting angry over such a tiny matter. Do u need to beat someone up just because he look/stare at u? ppl stare at u coz u handsome mah.. He should be sent to jail and get his ass whipped.
