but seriously... a pile of BS written by a bunch of religious conservative nutters and it has been taken up and spread around like it was fact all these years..
if backmasking worked, i'd use it and embed "BUY THIS RECORD!!" on all my songs and make a zillion dollars

My Christian friend told me he heard from his church that when playing songs of rock bands in a special player backwards, it will sound like 'Worship the devil'. He said bands like LP, Queens, Matellica...etc all santanic. I ask why i use audio editing tools on my pc to play songs backwards but hear nothing, and he say you need special player.
This is totally bullcrap to me. Wonder what you guys think
Btw, there are people in the States caught using a special modded CD player to make people believe this santanic stuff. Its basically a player that, no matter what disc you put in, will play the disc normally the first time you press PLAY and if you press again, it will play a pre-stored music file in the player's memory.
Don't ask me the source for this, its been reported years ago. In fact this santanic thing is many many years ago. -
