Any good audition songs for females...??

  It seems to me that males can get away with singing simple songs that doesn't require their vocals to stretch much and they are considered good singers by people. However, if a girl was to sing the same way, people would say she is weak!! Why must girls always have to do much more to prove themselves?? So, can people suggest over here some songs that would sound good for a female when she goes for singing auditions?

  We are assuming here of females who can really sing, who have strong, powerful vocals. Satisfied? It doesn't matter what your singing style, tone and whatever is. Everyone has their own unique way of pulling off a song.
  
  Now, have you got any good songs in mind which can impress judges at auditions?

  strong vocal still doesnt describe singing abilities. most aunties who scream away on their karaoke machines also have 'stong vocals'.

  Two more things:
  
  1)Pleasant and enjoyable singing. (good pitch, melodic)
  
  2) Knows how to hold the tune.
  
  The list ends here of what I'm trying to describe of a female going for an audition.

  I think it's difficult to sing Natasha's song. Also, her songs can't really show one's vocal range. Thanks for the other names. If you've got any more, just name them!! Here's my list:

  I think that 'Because of You' by Kelly Clarkson is a good one. Try singing the part where it goes "and now I cry in the middle of the night for the damn thiiiiiing!!" with her kind of vocals.
