omg! I did it AGAIN!

I did it again! For the second time, I proved that cryonics is POSSIBLE for ANY animal with an exoskeleton. Just now, I put a 1-2cm long wasp i caught in a small transparent container and filled it with water. Then, I placed the container with the wasp in the freezer. 60 minutes later, i took the container out and saw the insect frozen within a block of ice. i waited for the ice to thaw then retrieved the wasp from the wet puddle. drying the wasp with a sheet of tissue paper, i waited for 3-5 minutes before the wasp started to move. first its feelers, then its head, its abdomen, and its legs started waving in the air. within moments the insect was as alive as ever, with the exception of its wings which were now useless and could never be used again...what if humans had exoskeletons? we could survive in deep space, our bodies frozen in time, and even though 100 years may have passed, our bodies would not change at all. how cool is that?

Humans have skeletons on the insides of their bodies, which supports the body and gives it shape and structure. But insects have skeletons on the outsides of their bodies, which means that insects have to constantly moult to expand its body size. insects have breathing holes called spiracles along its abdomen, abt 12 or more of them. this forms a bubble of air around the abdomen which allows it to breathe and prevents water from suffocating the creature. but, when the cold touches the insect, its body shuts down and the bubble of air bursts, but since the cold is already freezing the insect, it enters a state of hibernation WITHOUT being drowned first. the breathing holes close.Originally posted by OO_OO_OO:1 more qn.

if this thing really works, then we could actually preserve a sickly human body, and let it come alive again when there is treatment.
