Just 1 question about Christianity.
According to my friend, to go to heaven you must truely believe in Jesus and be have good morals in your life. You can make mistakes but as long as before you die you truely realise your wrongs and decided to be good you can go heaven as well. Is this ture in christianity? Please anyone whos a christian correct me if i am wrong. I am a freethinker myself.
If yes, then a christian who is a murderer his whole life truely realised his faults and believed in Jesus sincerely will go to heaven but a a muslim who is kind hearted and helps the needy his entire life will go to hell just because he did not believe in Jesus? -

Well there are several things that don't agree with being a christian in the above statement. A true christian who truly believes will not murder , it will be a despicable and unthinkable act to him. The holy sprit within him will prevent him from doing so.

However, yes , we believe that even if youve been a murderer all your life and just on your deathbed , you repent from your sins and truly believe, you will be saved.

sorry all,please do not get personal with other people religion...
i just need to know a explaination for all these... i rem reading a statement ni bible that some seeds is spread acrosss, some land on good soil and other not.. but i cannot rem already.
Anyway, it hurt every time i saw old auntie searching and collecting cans.. but they never beg for money.
Is it they have give up hopes on good soul and not even want to ask for it, as they know no one will give them money or food, or they had lost hopes o n our society?

EVERYONE should go to hell.... no matter murderer or what... simply because everyone had one time or another sin in our life... We sin... Unless of cause you are sinless... which is impossible... Only one person is sinless as we believe which is Jesus... anyway not getting into it. Ok then Jesus have the abilities to bear your sin from judgement of going to hell... You go to Jesus then He will do that. That is how it works...
The same thing as... in the ancient world. Everyone who is a criminal should go to jail and suffer punishment... but if you know the emperor or you are his son... you can go a free... except that in the above case you need to be repentful... truely repentful...
also if Jesus is the Lord then of course you need to find him to recieve the forgiveness and not some other tom dick or harry which is not God... ( no offence here just speaking in condition of purely Christianity perspective as illustration) Example... you go to a mdm wong... know the bouncer there you can get in free... not some other funny character or another pub's bouncer. -
reminds me.. the can picker i see on the streets like getting younger... i saw a mid age uncle with a basket of cans today.
