Help..how to remedy PS2 lagginess..?

  Its was working in gd condition until when i started to use it to play DVD movies...Now when i switched back to play games the loading speed kan phua the lag...How to remedy this..? any1 kana b4 ?

  Probably the lens. You've got to send it to the shop to verify the problem and if it really is the lens, get ready to replace a new one. The last time I bought mine, the shopkeeper already warned me from using the PS2 to play DVD movies as well as PS1 games.
  
  Oh, and one thing... if yours is NOT a modified PS2 and your warranty is still valid, you can probably get the repairs for free by SONY.

  Mine is the modified version one...So ok how much the lens roughly cost u noe? If i am not wrong maybe ard $100 rite ??

  Hey bro, mine got problem too. Can anyone tell me why my PS2 which is model 50006 could play games but not movie? I thought model 50006 suppose to play movie too? What the problem? And my set is a modified one too.

  Hi Anti-rules..Can play,u just have to click on the green button (reset button) two times and it will play ur DVD..But i dun recommend using it to play dvd..Confirm will spoil 1...Just look at me..my PS2 now lag until knn i dun wat to do also
