Buy car first before going into sales or vice versa?

  Do you mean get the job? Cuz I got a job already but I'm planning to switch over to a sales job.

  My situation is similar as you....i'm being offered 1.9k (gross) + 0.3k (Fixed Incentive) + 0.6k (car allowance).....which now i'm troubled whether shld i go over or not....

  cars are everywhere. you can buy one as long as you can afford it.
  
  but if you buy a car first and cant find a suitable job to go with it you are throwing money down the drain.
  
  moreover not all sales job requires a car. some offers company car or some allows you to take cabs.

  Thanks for the info! But some jobs require you to possess own transport. My friend who's in the sales line told me he bought a car first before being offered a sales job. He also said employer very practical one lor... The first qns they always ask u is, "Got car?" If no then bye bye liao.
