I think this is kinda like not done anymore. I think most girls these days actually look out for husbands that know and will actually help out around the houseOriginally posted by sohguanh:Typical traditional parents wanna find one can cook, good to give birth, can do housework kind lor.. They will take opportunities to do spot check on their future to be xi fu
For me, cook up a few dishes for dinner is tested. Check kitchen got clean up or not is tested. Check toilet bowl got washed properly or not is tested. Check got help their sons iron working clothes is tested.
So wat other tests?![]()

Agree totally. Since we are on this I want to point out seem a lot of Sporean highly educated couples are not having babies and this got our gahmen worried cuz these group of ppl are the one they want their offspring to secure the future for spore. But they are not producing enuff babies. There is a theory Mr Cannot Say Surname Sir is smart couples produce smart babies. The other way round is open for interpretation. But he is not seeing enuff smart babies come out hahahaha.....
In contrast, the M and I race and China and foreign ladies are giving birth at KK hospital. The baby bonus has prompted them but for those spore educated couples the money not good enuff hahaha.... In time to come their offspring will dominate the country. Tink a bit then
I guess as one who rise up so high in company, taking maternity leave is a threat to own position in company after come back? Hehhehee.....[/b]
nt chinese man,so nt so demanding mahOriginally posted by elindra:Yes I'm Singaporean
No I have no problems getting hitched and neither do my friends
No I'm not playing the traditional role either and neither are they.
I guess it's ultimately what the guy is looking for as well. Not every guy wants a girl who stays at home and look after the house, and not every guy is unreasonable enough to expect their wife to work and cook and bear the responsibility of all the housework and affairs of the children.
I mean, if you think a foreign bride is better for you or other Singaporean men who think the same, by all means go for it.
Ultimately it is personal choice and expectations.
