  i dont know what happen.... my memory card... got faulty
  
  i cant format it.... as it says it is protected...
  
  how?

  Make sure no picture files are open when you are trying to format.

  i removed it from the phone and slot into my lappy....

  Your laptop can read this memory card in the first place? Check your laptop's manual to see what cards can be plugged in.
