just felt that I should not just read your post without registering my most heartfelt sympathies to you and indeed I know we must be careful when dealing with females.
I do not advocate any form of gender bias and wish to treat both genders equally. I advocate gender equality. And another thing I wish to add is that it should not be perceived that the woman is the victim all the time and that the woman is the one who is right all the time.
The issue should be looked at in an objective manner and it should also be made clear that the man has his rights too and is not always the criminal/aggressor.

Sorry to hear what you went thru, man...
I recall an ex-neighbour of mine was wrongly accused of rape many years back. He was convicted and sentenced to (if I'm not wrong, 8 years) but was let off after 5.
What happened was his wife truly believe his innocence and spent their life savings hiring a private eye to pursue this woman, his accuser. It finally came to light that she was (and still is a prostitute) and usually profession of this nature did attract the interest of the police who ordered a fresh investigation.
Well, this man was a cabby and this woman had taken his cab and upon reaching the destination, offered sex for payment of the fare. He refused to accept it and even said that she could pay him the money when she have it (of course, he asked for her particulars). She flew into a rage, attacked him and in the very fierce struggle/fight, both suffered injuries and torn clothings.
He stopped when she pulled out a knife (small one but still lethal nevertheless) and she forcefully masturbated him and then apply some semen onto her privates (he did not ejaculate but the trace of semen was harm enough).
She then cried bloody rape and well, the man was arrested. Test found that intercourse was recent (she just had a non-paying customer prior to hailing the cab) coupled with the trace of semen, the cabbie was finished....until, finally...release... but what pain for him and his family!
Frankly, did justice really prevailed ? He was paid a tidy sum for loss of income plus some damages (how much ? no idea) but his episode really leave a very bad aftertaste in my mouth for the slipshod manner in the initial conviction.
Yes, do be careful, guys but sometimes we have to count on more than common sense...we need to have the six sense to anticipate trouble too.
