Rental of novels..

  who here like to rent novels to read? Like those 2nd hand bookshop, eg. you 'buy' the book for $15, and if u return within a month, u will get maybe $10 back.
  
  where do u normally get ur novels from? which bookshop in singapore is the most afforable n best?

  i used to rent alotta new books from sandra brown and john grisham
  from level 3 bookshop in funan
  
  older titles can go library to borrow

  Yep I do. I can't remember the names of the stores, but I use to go to the one upstairs in holland village, but now usually have gone to the one in Bishan. Being unemployed, it's kinda helped to be able to get some extra cash from time to time lol
  But then again, I got a thing for books and love to keep on to them...But sometimes I get past this weird obsession and borrow from the library, or do the rental.

  Currently Stephen King / Richard Bachman & Dean Koontz / K. R. Dwyer.
  
  Of course I read other authors, but not really dedicated like I am to these two fellows.

  Not sure what you mean by legal dramas - mind elaborating a bit? If I were to guess, it sounds like non-fiction courtroom + cases, etc.

  Yah, I am not big into those kinds actually. Many people I met so far in SG love those kinds. I've read a couple of true crimes, but it's just not for me...at least at this point.
