iPod for me too... Using it for a few months now and no problems. The screen is sharp. Battery life when playing videos is around 3-4 hours. Songs is around 14 hours. I'm lovin' it~
One thing to note if you are going for iPod, buy a screen protector, those thin sheet of plastic that sticks on the front and back of the player. I don't know why many people love to buy casing for their iPod. Its thin, but with the extra casing it looks bulk. My iPod still looks as good as new with only the screen protector. -
in terms of functions ipod surely lose creative. but let me tell you that creative sure lose to samsung/iriver products. so much formats supported. is it great? any samsung/iriver users here?

I would prefer Zen Vision, the one with the bigger screen, If u wanna buy a video mp3 and watch movies in it, get a one with a bigger screen like a PSP, watching a movie for hours on it, you will strain ur eyes. Suggested Creative ZEN Vision (not zen vision:m), Ipod if u want style, small , less function , poseur value. Ipod support less video format then creative. CReative Zen vision, it jus cost a little more for a bigger screen.

Actually there isn't much of a fight.
Apple and Creative cater to different types of consumers.
And I think Apple chose the correct group of consumers, as well as a very good product designer.
Sales figures talk.
Creative's in the red now, sadly, and the up-and-coming lawsuit against Apple by Creative is going to suck 'em dry man, whether win or lose.
