Ants. Kill Or Spare?

but sometimes when i decided to play god, i will play around and torture them first then kill them. -

If i see all gather then slowly crawling to one direction, i either use rag to wipe or use water to wash them away.

we don't have an ant problem here..if i kill any it's by accident....where i used to live they were everywhere so i always kept ant spray nearby..i hate ants in the house.

Earth is not for human only, therefore we can't be selfish.
Imagine no insect, what is there for us to study?
Imagine no plants, where is the oxygen for us to breath?
Imagine no diary products, where is the meat for us eat?
Imagine yourself as an ant and people torture you like this?

usually i just use a piece of paper and lift them up onto the paper before flicking them out of the window....
just curious...do they die if i flick them out of the window? they are light...but am i killing them? i hope not...i been doing that for years
Nowadays, I aso don't kill them. I'll flick or blow them away.
But if they give me a painful bite, then I'll squash them! Or if there is a swarm of them crowding around left over food, I'll use a cloth to wipe them away
