It's not worth working in McDonald's during secondary school. I did that once, trust me it's not worth it. For that pitiful pay, spend your time studying hard. After your N' or O' then go chiong other part time jobs.

The pay at MacDonald is $3.80/hour if I'm not wrong. If you're really interested in working for own keeps, you may want to try searching on Friendster Classified. There's some decent jobs available for students.

Few years back when I was working in MacDonald during my secondary school days...
There're retarded people around. I'm sure we all know. This bloody fucker shit on the toilet floor, near the urinals (not in the cubicle).
So when the manager came to know of it, do you think he would
1) Eh boy, you take over my counter, I go wash the toilet
or
2) I take over your counter, you go wash the toilet

To threadstarter: if you're willing to wash toilets for the measly $2+/hr, then go ahead. But I sincerely advise you not to - it's not worth it. There are better jobs out there which don't require you to wash toilets. -

If u want to make considerable amount of money,go and hawk latest pirated vcd/dvd across the causeway,depend on which latest and popular movie u sell,u could make much more than a few dollars at Mcdonald
Right now there should be quite a number of vancancy at JB as a chain of pirated vcd/dvd shops belonging to a company closed down recently -

You seen to abhor cleaning toilet? Why? Cleaning toilet is a low class job only to be done by the old ppl and uneducated ppl? Juz becuz you are a student gives you the right to reject certain job tasks? Cleaning toilet is a way to let you know the kind of life style some ppl go through to earn a decent and honest living.
If your idea of a part time job is to earn money then of cuz mcdonalds don't suit you at all. To me I worked as cleaner part time (read it is everyday clean toilet) as compared to you once a while clean toilet in mcdonalds. The pay is not that fantastic but the chores I see the cleaners do make me feel for their hardship and their hard-earned money. I fully experience their hands on work not only use eyeballs see only!
Now I am working, I appreciate more of the low uneducated class ppl doing SHIT job to clean up the mess we are high class educated ppl left behind. And the ironic part of it is the hands on get much lesser money than the educated toilet user.
So now I in both sides of work, I think use brains open mouth tok can earn more money but it comes at a price of throwing your morals and conscience aside. That is wat most ppl aim for rite? Welcome to this sick peverted world I like it very much Thank you
