A380 delayed again

  Delivery of first A 380 have been delayed again by 4-6 months.
  
  This time is due to a electrical problem just discovered.
  
  Hmm.. i am wondering, if France Aviation authorities licensed the prototype to fly with these problems.
  
  I think we should doubt the standard of which they approve flying certs.

  yes....it is...but nw aviation testing tends to delay due to some problem etc etc.....is not uncommon nowadays.....

  The one you might have seen in Aerospace is a Prototype painted in SIA colours.
  
  ANyway, i just went Airbus website... they said they are trying to achieved certification by year's end.

  Misunderstanding here.
  
  The first Airbus A380 will still be delivered to SIA at the end of the year. The latest delay will affect deliveries for the next 3 years. Airbus expects to deliver around 9 planes in 2007, down from the initial projected delivery of 25 units and around 9 units less than initial projection deliveries for 2008.
  
  However, the first delivery for SIA will be delayed by a few weeks, not months.

  Nah, rafale is better compared to F-15E n Typhoon ... trust me, RSAF will buy Rafale soon ...

  Saw a documentary on Discovery Channel about Airbus making its first A380. Shows all the splendour of the planes. The achievements it could garnered. VVIP's were invited for the first showcase of the plane. It was set on a grand scale. But alas...behind those splendour.... glitches and more glitches..
