Singlish - we've enough of national identities.
We don't need any more.
In time to come, those people who ain't versatile (ie. not fast to adapt, know how and when to speak standard english), will get lost even before the gateway of global mass communication.

I would choose a pleasantly typed letter anytime. I agree that Singlish should be abolished.... ONLINE AND WHEN TALKING TO FOREIGNERS.
It has been a pain in the ar*e to decipher(yes, decipher. they're harder to understand then aliens from planet69.) what are some singaporeans saying online.
And at times their replies, while containing perfect vocabulary, have bad grammar. And at times when they have both, their replies deviate SOOOOO much from the original post that it makes no sense at all. It is like:
David : My Name is David what is 1+1
singlish: I like meat do you think sheep like cheese?
OK so it isn't like that but i just wanted to project my point across. Sometimes they want to say alot of things but they don't know how to correctly arrange and format what they want to say. Everything gets jumbled together and eventually a baby's GAGA makes much more sense then what they say.
However i like my singlish when talking to people.
And yes, get a life dood. This is old. WAYYYYYY TOOOOO OLLLLDDDDDD.

and i agree with some others here. tone down on the vulguarities please. no need to sink to their level. afterall the english language has many insults which are not vulgar, that u could use on him.
