  Actually are you keen into 3G services? If yes, now shld be looking at 3G phone models but I gotta admit not a lot of them are ard. I only saw Nokia and Motorola with few models coming from Sony Ericsson and Samsung.
  
  If you don't like 3G I guess FireIce and Ditzy recommendations are good enuff. I will be upgrading soon later this year so I was contemplating on Samsung or Sony Ericsson 3G models

  Maybe not this year but 1 year later? I still remember when phone switch from black and white to got full color screen, I paid $578 for Nokia 6110 then nowadays full color screen phones so dirt cheap even got $0!!!!

  yes.......according to the curve, price will drop
  but then new fones will be out and the specs will be better and better
  
  so u can a cheap 3G (1st generation) in 2007....$0 oso possible.......
