I only eat chilli padi. As for sauce type i only like those malay chilli at nasi padang store and also any ones with lime.Originally posted by erijazz:Which types of chilli are you refering to? The normal red chilli or chilli padi?
The normal red chilli is not spicy at all, not even a little bit of spicy taste.
In sg, only chilli padi i consider chilli and normally the serving from those hawker food are so little that i have to always ask for more, more and more and more...
So far the most spicy chilli i've tried is from philipines, they called it labuyo, its much smaller than the chilli padi here. As for those in thailand, i find it the same as sg.

Unless chilli dosent go with the food.![]()
yea. got brought up on chilli. lol. But not everything goes with chilli also.Originally posted by JennTS:same here.the only reason why i liked to eat vegetables from a young age, is because my grandmum made it so hot.
also theres the fact that my grandmum and my dad also take alot of chilli, guess my sisters and i got influenced by them.
but i know what you mean. i went to thailand in 2004 on a mission trip with my church youths + a few adults, and you know how thais like all the spicy food. the food was so heavenly to me being so spicy and all, until the second day when pratically all of them complained about the food. the people who cooked for us decided to tone down the hotness in it....*sigh* the food was so bland the second day.![]()
Same same.. so i always think twice...Originally posted by saline:i can take quite alot. but when it comes out at "the end", that is the time i regret eating them! haha!![]()
