i used to do that too. i find it helps me to concentrate, depending on what i'm studying. for example reading and memorising textbooks. if i just read them, i'll sure to fall asleep, listening to music keeps my mind focused.
if like maths then cannot lah cos must use brain and think. -
last time in sec sch when i do maths (emaths or amaths) i need to listen to eurodance then can do
and probably because it's my fav subject
then used to be playin daidee in irc , there is this daidee channel.
i play super fast games (near to com speed) with 3 other dont-know-who, chat in irc , take dinner and watch the tv at the same time
now cannot -
last time i can study maths while listening to music and sms but now i cant.
im better of studying without music

Well, I can shit, eat, forum, study, listen to music, dance, fight, play, etc at the same time.
This is kinda lame, you only have one brain, show me your can write a different character with each of your hand first before crapping.
When we talk about multitasking, like PC, it means something can perform multiple task simutanously or concurrently, but NOT AT THE SAME TIME. It is called multi threading if everything can be done at once.
Don't you see when you listen to music, the words from your book can't go in? When you studying, you don't really know which song is playing? Our brain has something like auto focus, so your nerves wont go awry.
Lamer only think they can multi thread

Actually it's common for teenagers to do a variety of things at any one time and focussing on each. But to think of it, it doesnt really save time. heh. but its common la. and.. im a guy.. and i bet to differ on guys cant multitask well. i think it takes practice. I can hold two conversations at any one time. (eg while replying A, B asks a qn and after replying A i answer B and so on and so forth)
