my house got one clock and when ever it reaches the hour mark it make the gong gong sound...quite soft...but then when i open the light the sound can be heard very clearly and when i close the light the sound cannot be heard liao y ar

When you on the light, the clock can detect a dumb-ass so it makes a sound
When you off the lights, the clock can't detect a dumb-ass anymore so it cannot be heard.
