Question on skype

  i got a few questions on skype..
  
  Skype can call to overseas right?
  
  Is it only can call to the person who is in overseas who is also using skype?
  
  or
  
  you can call to the person's hp in overseas?

  you can do both...but why spend money on international call charges when you can do it for free over the internet?

  hmm... yes u may call overseas of any number but only if u have a skype call account. meaning u got to pay. prevailing charges still apply.
  
  if u r talking abt voice to voice calls using microphone....then even msn can do it...

  If you wan to call another local/overseas Skype user with a PC-to-PC connection, it's free.
  
  If you wan to call an overseas hp/number, you need a credit card to buy credits on their SkypeOut service.

  theres actually a loophole if you're making a call to the continental US and the 50 states. land line call from skype to land line or cell. its a theory , i havent tried. you can try connecting through a proxy to mask your Ip so that skype will see you connecting through a US IP and port. then try calling out. not sure if it works.. but i m gonna try. if someone would just give me a US number to call
  
  skype calls from the USA to any local in the USA is free... so i think so far

  if i use my skype (singapore) to call to friend's hp(overseas), it is not free?
  
  aiyo, that means it's almost the same as msn liao lah? using microphone/voice conversation its almost the same thing? correct me if im wrong.

  Yes. In other words PC to PC is considered voice conversation. and its free of cos. msn/ yahoo messenger all got the service.
  
  If u wanna call a home line or hp using skype via PC... u have to have credits... by that..it means u have to pay.

  Yes. Up to 4 people can talk at the same time.

  any recommended headset for skype?
  
  i was using a headset, could receive clearly but my friends can't hear me clearly.
  
  and i think i need those kinda big headphones that cup the entire ear, the small ones are uncomfortable.
