I thought a 1hr show will only have 3 commercial breaks???
Is it becos that mediacocks is not satisfied with the $$$ they earned form those sms??So they need to play more commercials on tv??? -

It's not that I am very gian of the show. But choosing between advertisement and drama, of cos I choose drama. Dunno next time will have 5 commercial breaks anot. $$$ cause them to forget that they got to provide good service to us also.

Jus like the newspaper, Today. Do u think they're so good and kind to give out free newspaper everyday?
Wrong! They earn lots of money thru advertisements spaces and commercial breaks.
Ever wonder how the artistes and employee of Mediacorp get their pay?

They can have longer ads time than having more interval, si bei sian one lor, watch abit advertise abit.
Last time can use ads time to do some other things, now, ads lesser each break but more interval
Soon they will 1 min ads 1 min show, WTF!

I think AXN is like that too. in one show they have 4 or 5 commercial breaks. however I think in the end it still finishes before Ch 5 (if they're viewing the same show at the same time. eg. TAR), as their commercial breaks are shorter compared to Ch 5.
I miss the old cartoon network. each commercial break only had 1 or 2 advertisements. -
lol. cartoon network is still available at cable tv. I think commercial breaks are good as they allow us to go to toilet, grab some food, and also switch to other channels to see got other good shows or not.

Media crop is free to air, but we pay tv taxes .... so where got free.... anyway, I can't live without commercial now ...... without commercial, I cannot play with the remote .( changing channel during break )..... it have been a habit already ... that's why I hardly watch DVD .....
