many years ago, I had a Director of Technology. He verbally abused everyone in the office. One of the girls wanted to quit and he threatened her. So we told her to get a voice recorder and take down whatever he said. Cause we all don't want to get into trouble. This happened more than 5 years ago.Originally posted by (human):Did not record lehz.
if a few able ones vying for the same management post...the best politician wins riteOriginally posted by mistyblue:many years ago, I had a Director of Technology. Next time, get your 1 G voice recorder Iriver device in there and shame these people by sending the recording to ST forum or CNA. Perhaps the discussion forums can highlight issues with bad managers cause I see a lot of underserving people in management roles. In sg, I find most managers are not very competent and are put there cause they had friends higher up or had just stuck around long enough that they are just too senior to be bypassed by some junior person to be a manager. Promotion is based on politics, not ability.
its not a matter of can or cannot...its a matter of whether U want to...for the sake of money or whatever...Originally posted by (human):Last few weeks ago my collegue was screwed by my supervisor with hokkien's vulgarities for almost 5 minutes, i was there to withness the f***ing session and this poor collegue was submissive enough and the matter was calmed down then.
