You can't wait for it to hit Singapore ? Be thankful that it's hitting on Sea / Dessert and thus not much damaged or disaster.Originally posted by hoganrock:...and not on populated area?![]()
ya small ones hit sea nothing much happens but wait til the large ones about 300metres wide hit the sea and you'll see massive tsunamis...Originally posted by photo_seeker:You can't wait for it to hit Singapore ? Be thankful that it's hitting on Sea / Dessert and thus not much damaged or disaster.
i think if we apply this logic then singapore is quite safeOriginally posted by dragg:sea probably has a bigger surface area.
but if you apply the gambling logic the chance is 50/50.Originally posted by MrDeeJay:i think if we apply this logic then singapore is quite safe![]()
thank youOriginally posted by newmanmback:yeh lor can answer this way since area of sea is greater than dry land but here's more on meteors and meteorite
http://www.seds.org/nineplanets/nineplanets/meteorites.html
the site may not be updated but provides some info on falling stones...
pls note the actual size of meteorites as when they fall on earth.
i am just glad that the small stones falls on earth due to the the attraction of gravity once they enter or comes into the path to earth's orbit so we invited them. the ones we should fear are the bigger ones that come once in million years.
impact craters (according to the webpage) are found (another think i am happy to know), discover and reported. its the result of such stones hitting earth many many years ago so evidently if they are found under the sea or in deserts its not a surprise. we just have not found them all. i mean if one had actually hit where India or China is now then someone would have reported it before building or settling IN india and china rite?
pls note that they hit us...but only the smaller ones (in milligrams)...the big one will come and will probably kill us all like how they did with the dinosaurs....
err.....okay all nuclear missles and space station monitor standby...i hope the combined fire power of our weapons can break that one big lump of stone before it hits earth...or at least break the portin of it so that its course can be deflected or its mass disintegrated....like that mankind can at least fu ck one another in bed for another million year hehe
esp when they travels or fall towards earth at the speed they travels. in space there are no resistence so their speed were unchecked.but if a real big one's bound for earth......Originally posted by ToLox:........ The heat caused, by the friction of the object flying through the earths stratosphere is enough to cause most meteorites to become just debree .......

if the 300 meter one hit a city area is worse then kerna sea right... tsunami hit the costal regions nia... lolzxOriginally posted by SixSentinels:ya small ones hit sea nothing much happens but wait til the large ones about 300metres wide hit the sea and you'll see massive tsunamis...
