so much for 'advanced' medical science...
why bring a child into the world when one didn't plan for it, and worser still, cannot provide for it financially/emotionally etc? sure yes, you can put it up for adoption, but that's a whole different story.
imo, euthanasia for long term coma patients is an option given to their closest kin, especially if they cannot afford to pay huge hospital bills and such, so who are we as outsiders to judge what is right or wrong, or what is best for the patient? even so if the patient is euthanised, the families can choose to donate the deceased's vital organs to others who are in dire need of them. is that not a point to think about?
i'm trying to say, sure not every advancement in medical science is humane, but even if it is, and there is something good to be gotten out of it, shouldn't we make use of it?
furthermore, the purpose of contraceptives is to prevent an unwanted pregnancy and in your words, subsequently ''murder embryos''... So.
well, this is an opinion of a 17 year old... i really think you shouldn't just focus on the bad results of said advances. sure morality is essential, but morality alone wouldn't find cures for terminal diseases and pandemics and such.
