Question abt antibiotic

recently got a bad bad fever
doctor gave me antibiotic of dosage 5 days
now still have 3 more days of dosage left so i wanna know if i do not finish them wad will happen? izit it will not work again nxt time if i get fever?

Most of the time nothing will happen to you, but if you are unlucky or your body is weak you will get sick again and this time the anti-biotic will not cure you anymore.

It is considered a medicinal theraphy rather than having panadols to relief symtoms.
Anti-biotics are given to kill virus in the body , of coz there are a few side effects varying from person to person to look out for.

It is recommended to finish them all, as it is some aids to help ur body to fight against the bacteria. Ppl say that if u do not finish them all, the nxt time u eat it, it will not be effective at all. Best to finish them all.

Since u had mention that the doc had given you a 5 day course of antibiotics, my advice will be for you to finish it.

You can always choose not to finish them, however, the next time the same virus attack you again, it will be a mutated one, which will be resistant to the antibiotic that you had chosen to take half-way.
Normally, patients who choose to take their antibiotics half-way will continue their habit, until one day, even the strongest antibiotic does not work for them (or are simply too toxic).

Well, there are always another higher range of antibiotics...
As long as you are not resistant to Vancomycin, there will still be an antiobiotic that might cure u. -

antibiotics are used to kill germs.....not viruses........they can be used for preventative purposes.....
but if your flu is a viral cause.......there isn;t any worry to finish them all because antibiotics do NOT kill viruses.....they only deal with germs.......
and about finishing the whole course????? neh.......if you are very weak and sickly.....might consider finishing all.......but generally......i won't even touch them.......
