hi people,
my sis recently bought a devil beside you VCD from BlueMax in People's Park.
i was quite shocked when i saw that DVD. Apparantly, the title as displayed on the DVD cover was wo de tao qi wang zi.
den when i played the DVDs. i realise that the sound doesn't match with the pics on the screen ( the voice of that character doesn't match with he/her zui(3) xing(2) ) obviously, it's lagging.
As i had watched this show before, i remember the scences. but for this DVD, some scenes was cut.
just wanna ask u all is this DVD original or Pirated.
I had attached a pic of the cover of the DVD for u all to see.

found out alot of shops selling are actually pirated one, the distributor kana big time. -
go back and change....change for the original version
wat u hav is a china parallel import version...

Actually we went back to BlueMax to exchange.
but the attitude of the staff sux to e core.
we told them our reasons for exchanging, and they replied:'is lag a big prob, so wat if the scene were cut'
obviously, they were not willing to exchange for the goods.
Then we asked to exchange the DVDs with VCDs.
And their reply was " Ok. Pay us the difference and wait for the goods to arrive and they will call us"
But until now, there's isn't any reply. kept on saying out of stock.
Tried calling them.
initially, they dunno it was us. So their attitude was damn good.
After knowing it's us.... their attitude change so drastically. SO RUDE! -

cutiecherrypie, if u had studied laws and ur rights as a consumer in singapore, u will know that u are protected under Consumer Rights.
Your DVD should never had been faulty, if u still had the reciept, it is proof that u had a contract with the shop, all goods bought are expected to be working fine. U go scare them abit with this information, but u must have the reciept as proof of purchase though. -
freak...such lousy service....
if im u i would juz ask the boss out n smack the DVD rite in his face....
wat lousy goods r they trying to sell????

Not to mention names but one of the PC shop in Causeway pt also did a similar thing to me and even before i mention abt CASE he say:"If you wan, you go complain to CASE lor! U think i scare arh".
All i can do now is to tell my friends are relatives who're gg there for shooping to aviod that shop~ -
Bought China parrallel import before they are very cheap original and quality not that bad wat... Probably problem with this dvd...

erm, until now, there's no reply from them.
started to get worried cos
Firstly, they took back that DVD
Secondly, they wrote on the receipt in chinese that they owed us the VCDs. there isn't any signature or any prove that those wording are written by them
what should i do? -
btw. i heard from my IT law teacher,
these chinese imports are actually pirated...but they are CLASS A Pirated...
dunno whether wat he said is true....hmm -
didn't TS just got sued for selling pirated dvd at the price of a original?
