thanks, i have the creative's e-dict...that one is mainly only in chinese.
the one i m now looking for is for English-Chinese.
it seems like besta is currently the only in the local market which is most affordable for English-chinese version....and cd28 is the cheapest...
will go and check it out at their outlet.... -

my sch dun allow eng-chi dictionary...and de price...not worth it...so dull...i rather use the book

book dictionaries are better although oso not 100% accurate.......... -

yup i know its not a approved dictionary for use in school...maybe cos its not 'silent' like the hansvision's which need to plug in earphone in order to hear the pronunciation. -

dictionaries got not 100% accurate ah??? paisay,....i don't use much of my dictionary that's y for twenty yrs now, my dictionary still very good condition..
what is CMI again?? sorry lah....
by the way....after checking out the besta edictionary and much consideration over the weekend, i have decided to get them the paper dictionary, reasons being :
cheaper
umm don't want them to become 'lazier'
don't know the lifespan of the edictionary
electronic stuff spoils easily if dropped, i can't guarantee they will be careful with it.
always gotta change battery troublesome..
and i think in the process of finding one word, sometime they may catch attention of another nearby and maybe also learn another new words (i do at times)
lots of the dictionaries have very tiny words, glad to find one which is quite ok.

if you are still studying in school the book kind is better lar. if you're searching for some word you might lucky lucky bump into some cheem cheem word you can use in your chinese essay. happens to me quite often
. during major exam... bring BOTH -
i just install dicts on my fone. Medical one, business ones, oxford consise english one, etc
