  I guess I belong to the rare breed of people who buy jewerllery because it actually looks good instead of its resale value.

  Some look like plastic figurines, esp with colour combo of dark red, dark yellow and dark green. You can't even tell it's made of glass.

  It's true that in ancient periods, glass was highly regarded and only the rich can afford glass. But now, we're in the [b]MODERN ERA. Glass is basically worthless. It's as worthless as jade. Try selling jade in pawnshops and you'll be rejected straight away.
  
  Liu Li is overpriced glass, which prices range from $100+ for a small piece to thousands for a large statue. IMO, it doesn't deserve this price tag, yet I still see idiots (adults!! not sch kids leh) paying large sums of money for glass...

  it not that glass that are priceless.. it the design, the carving.. u know i once went to this liu li exhibition in ngee ann city and u will be very amazed when u see those glass.. it really beautiful..
