Singapore law stuff... need help

  anyone knows about the new trademark law implemented in singapore?
  I need information pertaining to the registration of sound/colour/scent, if you have any information on that please inform me.
  
  Also if you have information on the 1994 trademark law please enlighten me too.
  
  I tried searching for them but to no avail.
  
  looking at the whole trademark law @ http://statutes.agc.gov.sg/
  but i hope to get a simplified version.

  My advice, if your sound, colour or scent is that important to you.... get a lawyer's help.
  
  As far as I know in Singapore, I do not think scent can be a trademark but can be an intellectual property.
  
  Sound and colour can be trademark only if it is part of your company's profile.
  
  But don't quote me. I suggest if you want to protect your intangibles, get a lawyer.

  You can search for the info there.
  
  Call them if in doubt. They will be very willing to help.
  
  I remember scent can be registered, but I can't remember whether it's patent or trademark.

  Best if he invented a scent Recruits can use so they don't stink up SBS buses or MRT.
