  is there a website whereby we can download movies by paying monthly subscription fees?
  
  i remember seeing it on the newspapers but can't remember whats the url
  
  anyone heard about this?

  hollywoodclicks seems like a good one to try out....I think U can get some kind of a discount voucher from SingPost outlets...saw it when I went to pay bills some time back...those interested can go and see if they still have it...its put together with those promotional leaflets at the tables where people fill in their forms and then join the queue.

  although the customer service sucks and its server isnt that wonderful.

  its not that it is not feasible it can be done its just not profitable to let anyone pay a fee and get unlimited downloads off movies, songs and large files PC games. if u see such a site most probably u will be directed to some torrent or P2P software and related links.
  
  so far i know you can get some unlimited downloads off those handphone games or low-ended 2-d games for computers, the best u can get are files for PC game demos and movie trailers for free or uninterrupted fast direct downloads for a monthly fee with some sites.

  Surf library website, book the movie, ask them to send to library near u for $1.99 , u can keep it for 7 days, drop off at library near u again

  25 days trial, 3 disc max. But, must key in Credit Card informations and if you don't terminate 5 days in advance before payment day, they'll auto bill you.

  yah, they're a good company. wide range of movies.
  not like you r friendly neighbourhoood ones... can't even find classics like godfather, fish called wanda, etc

  i was trying to update the "movie que" and that happens
  
  actually i think their server quite slow when searching for movie titles, e.g. when you search for "1999" movies, it's quite slow when trying to browse between pages, dunno they do it purposely or what
