Zheng Ge Ping @ the last question won 1k, when convert to KWD (Kuwait currency), it become sing dollar 5k (1k Kuwait dollar=5K Sing dollar)
so i did a check on yahoo currency
Wah lao realli true. I thought Pound is the most expensive currency, then US dollar or EURO

my mum also tio shocked, but i tell her, yeah it's true. their highest valued note in circulation is 20 dinars. -

1 sgd = approx 72 yen
its not about comparing with pounds, euro or usd....u hav to look into the living standards there to effectively measure the size and value of any currency. fluctuations and inflation of currencies are shaped by many external factors.
i dun know how much it costs for a loaf of bread or an AK-47 over at Kuwait mayb some 1 familiar with Kuwait can post some comments over here? -

popular currencies no matter how big or small they are can easily be traded or exchanged...this adds a 'value' to them which far surpasses the exchange rate...sure we all know 1:5 for kwd....1:5 for cny.... 1:72 for the yen but what is the rate of exchange (not exchange rate) for all those currency in the trading market? u go china..go us...go my...go hk...go taiwan u need some of the cash there right? well i go kuwait nah probably i will work there in the day and stay indoors at nite due to security reasons so no need to bring too much caash not safe anyway...use credit card if ever got the chance to go restaurant

currency is an interesting topic. it used to be backed by gold, but now it's really based on an intangible value which we all see. the paper is really worth how much we think it is worth nia. -
