  Those already studying in local U- do u still get allowance from your parents? How much do u get a mth?
  What amt. is considered reasonable to cover food, transport & stationeries?
  How much do u spend daily?

  at Uni level, try to support yourself by doing some part time work at least?
  
  if not too spendthrift, prob need at least $300/mth bah...

  canteen food is very afforable
  u have student concession for public transport
  
  earn ur own.....
  teach tuition or work in sch.....(sch sometimes have openings for students to part time, like in the co-op, cafe, admin....)

  For no need pay money free show go to NUS Arts canteen there got one corridoor is like a fashion show parade every day. The Uni arts gal dress so sexy and skimpy with a lot of pattern ones. Engine ppl like go there eat lunch and eat ice cream.
  
  For me I need take shuttle bus to reach so if got chance go there, it is a confirmed destination in my itenary
  
  As for allowance, it really depend on you wanna play or wanna study seriously.

  ..... then for those who work full time (9 to 5 job) and take full time degree, day time work and need to atttend class at night. Still got time to enjoy? must be stress out right?

  depends on the actual course taken .......

  Frankly, I dont know how those workg part-time can cope with school work and all.
  
  I only have my school work and a CCA (which requires flexible commitment) & I'm complaing that I dont have enough time for myself and for friends.. I get so tired everyday.
  
  Maybe it's coz I live in Tampines and have to travel,like 3 hours to school each time, back & forth. *shrugs*
