Jus now lady called me to promote starhub, got very obvious auntie slangs and language, and also a very strong thai accent. How come hire this kind of ppl do telemarketing, spoil their image loh.

i was quite stunned when i hear this lol, its normal language but u dont use such language to promote things especially for a company like starhub.
Actually because of the way she talk. i was thinking in my mind which of my frens is prank calling

i tink they're juz telemarketers from the sub companies...not from the main starhub itself...
cos Starhub actually go thru alot of filtering b4 they finally hire their workers....
of cos...muz be at least quite educated.... -

my law module lecturer, for the sake of the experience, she accepted the offer and went down to see how it really is like. She said its damn damn hard to reject their offers, u will most prolly succumb to buy their products to save ur face and faster get out.

when she enter the room, they CLASH THE GONG and applaud her entrance ROFLMAO WTF!!! Den after that they promote thingsx to her, but she reject say its ok. Then when she wanna walk out liao the angmoh "CEO" come in, shake her hand speak some angmoh chapalan stuff to make her feel important. She still insisted on leaving, then the whole room dulan black face, she faster zao.
Wah knn u gimme this kind of situation i will pee in my pants -

They represent Starhub. They are not from Starhub itself. North Bridge Road at bugis there i think, coz i work there b4...This type of job is hourly paid with commission. Uncles, aunties, students all welcome...That's why the "standard" is like that...

One more thing. When they call, they can only say, "I'm XX calling on behalf of Starhub. Have you heard of the latest promo watever etc..." They never say they are calling from Starhub itself....

aiya go here to see for yourself to find out lor: north bridge centre, north bridge road, level 4. there's no company logo or what just rooms.. but sometimes they leave some "marks" outside like disney channel posters.. etc.. dunno issit main starhub or outsourced.. the building's opposite the road from bugis junction..
