Do friends become jealous once you become successful?

  Izzit true that once you become a bit successful, your friends stop feelg happy for you and they start feelg ever-so-slightly jealous?
  
  Anyone has such experiences?

  Hmm...if you're talking about Singaporeans, then the answer is definitely YES.
  So best is to tell all your friends that you're more unsuccessful of them to enjoy their accompany. Else, tell them you're more successful of them if you don't need them to be your friends anymore.
  
  I'm always less successful to all my friends.

  yes...frens do not become jealous once u r successful..Becoz if they are..then they would are not even frens in the first place..I would say lost a friend if hes jealous

  well some of them do get jealous, but they are still good friends. after a while it just gets on fine.

  which is why, your best friend is never your colleague, all will be jealous if u do better den them and some might even get so jealous they do things to sabbo u. My best frens are still from sec sch, frens ever since.

  It also depends on how you treat your frens when you are successful. If you start to act high and mighty becos you are earning more or in a loftier position, then you cannot blame your frens for isolating you becos you could be the problem instead of them.

  i have this friend who appears not to be very happy whenever i'm a bit better off than him... it has been for some time liao but i dun wanna confront him jus cuz of tt la... he will act sarcastic etc when i'm slightly better off lor... try to make me feel worse...

  This is just one instrinsic but ugly aspect of human nature. We generally do not want others to outdo us. The only persons who are not be jealous of your success are your parents.

  Haa , I m not sure if my friends will be jealous if i were to be more successful but when I am worse off than them , the negative comments start coming in for sure.
