How to check if my Internet/Handphone Contract has ended?

  I am using Singnet and my HP contract is also Singtel..
  
  When I call Singnet about my Broadband contract, they say still got another 1.5yr to run...I was quite puzzled coz I ony sign 2yr and it was like almost 2+ yrs ago.
  
  Either my dad help me to resubscribe or they auto help me extend two years... How does Singnet or Singtel treat all those whose contract is ending? Do they cancel for you or help u auto-extend?
  
  I still using 512kbps and I kena charged like 40+ a month so I wan to get out...
  
  How to check with them when my contract end other than calling them... Its so hard to get their customer service.

  They continue for you but if the contract has ended and you never go end it, it will continue... then you must go renew or cut it..

  Then lets say my contract ended le but they continue for me, can I go cut it anytime? Must I pay a fee for that?

  They never ask you cuz they can continue to shop you at that price.. for eg.. 2 years ago before my 512kpbs plan ended, it was 70+ per month.. then now only $30+.. if they don't tell you they earn more right ? then now, which is 2 years from before, 3500kbps is not even $50 per mth.. why they bother to inform you when they can earn more money... ? But once your contract ended, you could renew/extend/dun care(continue)/cut off/upgrade.

  You can call 1626 to check your outstanding period of contract running for your mobile line, at the same time to save time, can ask them to check for you the SingNet contract, and pose them all the questions you have now, and if you don't have satisfactory answers from them, ask for a person higher in authority to speak to you... By the way, remember to ask for the name of the receptionist on the line so you can quote her for saying things... My experience...

  Once your broadband expires and a promotion happens to be ongoing, they will mail you the package. If you never reply, they take it as you are renewing and not upgrading and you will have to pay more for the same speed. If you replied either not renewing or upgrading, you will get their freebies, new hardware (for upgrades). You may or may not pay less, depending on the plan you choose (if you renew)
  
  For handphone, I'm not too sure. I just subscribed last year.... one more year to go. But I presume they will info you as well...
