Qantas or Thai Air?

Which airline would you recommend for someone going on exchange in London for a year? Both cost btw 1450 - 1500 inclusive of tax. Thai offers 30kg baggage for students but Qantas has only 23kg. Is the 7kg difference vital for a student spending a year abroad?
Take Thai got to transit 3 hours in Bangkok, Qantas direct to London. There's a fear of flight delay while transitting at Bangkok. Furthermore my impression is that Qantas has superior in flight entertainment; Thai shows all the crap movies like 15 Blocks. -
16 blocks is a nice show.

Thai air has nice food, warm service and pleasant-looking air stewards and stewardess. But BKK airport has nothing much to do for 3 hrs.

There's NOTHING to do in BIA!!!!
I'll take Quantas, though i had bad experience with them.

i enjoyed qantas' inflight entertainment... better than SIA
becos for qantas, after your 1st movie and you switch to another movie... it starts from the beginning... whereas for SIA the movies all run concurrently... after your first movie and you move to your second movie... you have to watch it from eg. 45th minutes etc... very luan.. -

depends u like angmo chicks or asian chicks, 4 mi depends i go 4 angmo bloke or asian bloke, i go 4 angmo airlines cos got angmo bloke assist mi with my baggage for the overhead compartments

i definitely go for thai airways.....the flight on qantas sucks.....not to mention the air of arrogance their ugly flight attendants display.......btw....their flight hostess and flight stewards look like those ugly old hags.......how come qantas hire such old folks as their cabin crew????? so old......and ugly looking......scarecrow lor..........never want to take qantas......furthermore their food is so bland tasting............not like swiss air or some other flight airlines like SIA........
