vietname : 12 in the world
philipine : 17th
malaysia: 44th
Singapore: the most unhappy one in asia region. 131st.
no wonder i feel not happy all the time...
should i migrate out? -

The richer we are, the more unhappier we will become...
It's true.
In a competitive society, Singaporeans tend to compete & compare with each other; i.e. salary, jobs, education level, size of HDB flats, cars, yandao BFs/chio GFs... i could go on forever... the more we compare, the more unhappy we become...
whereas neighbouring countries, where lives are much more simpler, pple are much more contented with whatever they are having now...
so they feel happier

so, what is our government doing?
do they strive for economic growth? or strive for a happy, caring society...
sometimes, i think people just get the priority wrong... -
we all lead a sad life..

This is very true, as long as you are contented with what you have you will be happy. Eg. If I drive a van, I will be contented as long as it bring me from point A to point B. But I know ppl will think that van is something not presentable or practical. Well, live within yr means don't listen to others comment cos they are not practical and try to be presentable without money in the bank. -

if i didn't hear wrong, they totally omitted singapore's rating, mentioning india, some african country as the worst and denmark as the top.
