i subscribed to that shattered galaxy abt 1 yr ago, got 2 medals, 1 reincarnation, had a full team of lvl 60 tanks, infantry, organics, aviation, joined the Renaissance (the faction has a new name now). its a VERY nice game especially when u have alot of artillery and just bomb the POCs u can get like a hundred kills...Originally posted by mhcampboy:looks cool... but easy to play and learn or not...? hows the gameplay like? -

the game is very elite-based. u start on the moon relic, a newbie planet where u train ur squads and customise them, then u can move to morgana prime where the real battles are fought. hundreds of units on the battlefield, and u have 6 squads of 12 units each (unit-per-squad limit increases with attribute points)Originally posted by mhcampboy:is it addicting... if i just start to play... will i be killed easily? -

and theres like 50 players per battle (25 per faction), so 50x12 = 600 units on the field and everywhere u look theres a big battle, tanks are firing their guns at infantry, massive alien centipedes appear from the ground to smash into enemy vehicles, snipers are shooting down enemy soldiers, artillery bombing POCs to allow capture by allied units, bombers destroying rows of enemy tanks, cloaked wraiths hiding behind trees killing the swarms of alien scorpions, so many units u can equip yourself with...

YEAH RENEWAL WAS A DAMN GOOD GAME. i remember i played it from 15 november 2002 to march 2003 where the ANU fortress event took place. i still remember the routes from tos 1 to tos 3 LOL i miss the game so much i remembered i tricked the GM to give me a free bullhead car rofl and remember the event where alot of santa doctors camped at the entrance to renewal city they had like 50000 health and dealt 1 damage rofl ahhaha renewal is good i still have 4 of the discs and manuals.Originally posted by JennTS:cabal online.

and where got 4 discs? only got 2 what; renewal: siege for perfection and renewal 2: battle for jadis.
can't believe i'm still so hung up over it even after 3 years. i had a dream this morning that a sg renewal private server was set up, but i didn't install something properly and it kept crashing.
then when i woke up i was so upset because i realized it was a dream, and after falling i continued on with the dream, and my sister was playing it, and told me she found out what was wrong with it.
woke up again in a few minutes, and again i was disapointed to find out it was a dream again. -

...u misunderstood me. when the beta opened on 15-17 november 2002 i took 4 discs, like 4 of the starter sets. get it? then i updated my siege for perfection to battle for jadis through the online updater, i didnt get the jadis starter set.Originally posted by JennTS:where got tos 3? pyroll one izit?
