  The contact list looks cramped and is harder to see who is online and who is not, when compared to the old Messenger.
  
  And ah, dunno why, the message windows are ALWAYS ON TOP! Meaning if I want to switch windows, I have to Alt-Tab or press the Windows button on my keyboard to make the taskbar appear.
  
  And, CANNOT SEE DISPLAY PICS ON CONTACT LIST!

  Me no problems leh.... but I like this feature of searching friends... faster... type in and tada! The list is narrowed down, easier to look for my friends.

  just downloaded and trying it. so far so good, but apparently the nudge can only be used on pple with WLM only

  i think u can send msg to offline contact, when they come online they'll see the msg u send them...

  notice that now when someone comes online i cannot see the pic, only one green round head. in fact, even in the WLM window i also cannot see their pics, all look the same with the green round head

  WAHAHAHAHA ... after my above post about all contacts looking the same with the green round head den suddenly my contacts photos start coming out when they come online, but the WLM window still all green heads

  Maybe your friend is using a very old version of MSN? I remember when I first started using MSN last year, my version did not have nudges or winks.

  I don't have this problem, unless I have newly added a contact. It takes a while to load the contact's picture, so just wait a while.

  Your friend using a very old version is it? Anything less than version 7, the nudges can't work.
  
  Same goes for windows messenger, only those windows messenger that come bundled with XP can nudge.

  I use MSN Messenger 8 right now but when I download file , I experience a slow rate of downloading... haizz... what's the problem??

  found a problem with this WLM, i can only sign in at home, if i try signing in from other places with WLM i either cannot connect or i will have no one on my contact list.
  
  same goes to my gf, she tried to sign in from else where also same problem. anyone else have this same problem also?
