Power! What is it? Why is there so many types?

  I came across this problem and is sort of stuck with it. When you say a person is powerful, in what way? Persuasive, position (Manager, General), wealth power or ect? How many different types of power is there actually? Can anyone guide me along?

  Power can refer to many things... Like Prime Minister has the power over the governing and internal and military of da state. Teacher has the power to educate and to a certain extent punish students.

  Add 2 "great" into the sentence and you will find it familiar...
