Wifi hotspot

  Are wifi hotspot islandwide managed by Starhub?
  like when i was in Coffee Bean at the suntec city,i was redirected to starhub wifi website when i connected to it..then they listed several options on how to use the wifi,one which was free but they require you to sms a number for a pass and then switch ur network to Starhub...problem is,i cant switch from either singtel or M1 to starhub.

  i mean i get redirected to starhub wifi page whenever i attempted to surf there w/o logging in

  did u subscribe to starhub's outdoor wireless surf?
  
  anyway, there are other spots tt offer free surfing.
  like mac, nydc
  why u go starbucks.

  Off topic, can anyone teach me how to connect to macdonald hotspot, meddled with settings now cannot surf liao...

  I thought your n80 can do it for you? Mac one just have to sign in with email.

  starhub, singtel and etc have their own wifi hotspots, actually the hotspot at starbucks should be managed by singtel but maybe starhub have too many hotspots at suntec and it "overpowered" singtel's signal

  actually, starhub only have three "major" hotspots, the rest are mantained by third-party/partners. but before you use those hotspots maintainted by their partners, take note that additional charges do apply

  suntec starbucks got singtel mah.
  
  u can try mac and nydc if u're not any hotspot's subscriber.

  also when in Starhub wifi zones,it will ask you to change ur operator to itself and also get a pass to log in right?But i still wonder how to change operator leh...my phones cannot change ops
