any one got any idea how to get hold of stalls for FLEa Market/ PUSh Cart/ Yellow Box ... any requirement nt

You can get flea mart stalls at china square every sunday . But you have to rent the stall for a few sunday to be cheaper ard $35 . Else one sunday is abt $50+ , You can go there at any weekday or sat to rent it then display your wares on sunday.

tanglin mall flea market is $70, 2pm to 11pm
but the buyers are mainly marias who want sexy clothes -
with a rent of $70 a day, what can you sell to make profit in a PUSH CART??
unless you sell sex on a cart.

i seriously dun know how those push cart can make profit.
look at the prices of the products they are selling!
how to make profit? think only 1 out of 10 people looking actually buy them. -

I was at Tanglin Mall the other time round and hit $700 sales from my friend's old clothings. Clothings are the main hits over at Tanglin Mall. -

the stuff u sell have to be different from the rest or it must be trendy
the way u decorate the stall and display the items must be attractive and easy for ppl to identify wat u selling...
there is not much time for marketing and awareness (unless u are renting long term)
must do shi chang diao cha.......wat are other stalls selling, when's the peak period crowd........execs or teens......wat they like.......how much they willing to spend on such items...... -

(Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, 3 - 11pm, Covered Walkway)
Items Allowed To Be Sold:-
- Antiques
- Collectibles (e.g. stamps, phonecards, MRT cards, bank notes, Coke collectibles, etc.)
- Curios
- 2nd Hand Books
- 2nd Hand CDs/ Records
- 2nd Hand Toys
- 2nd Hand Fashionwear (e.g. clothes, shoes, bags & accessories)
Items NOT Allowed To Be Sold:-
- Imitation Goods
- New Items
- New Bookds
- New CDs/ Records
- New Toys
- New Fashionwear & Accessories
- Food & Drinks
- Goods that are similar or conflict those sold by Tanglin Mall shops
Requirements (Submission & Registration):-
a) Applicants must be 16 yrs & above
b) Applicants must be a Singaporean/ Singapore Permanent Resident
c) Applicants must register PERSONALLY with their NRIC (for verification purposes)
Payment:-
a) $70 payment strictly via NETS only
b) Fees are inclusive of GST
c) Fees paid are non-refundable
Register for 2 & 16 Sept Bazaar at Information Counter (L2)
(a) Submission Dates: 14 & 15 Aug (Mon & Tue), 10am - 8pm
(b) Balloting Date: 16 Aug (Wed), 10am
(c) Registration & Payment Dates: 17 - 20 Aug (Thu - Sun), 10am - 8pm

Try asking the shopping centre information counter and they will give u the application form.. a typical push cart allowed is 30 days about 3k per month and you must put 1k deposit depending on the shopping centre.Originally posted by jakku:Hi there,

But you must find out what product are for your target audience coz different shopping mall have different customers.
For example, comparing a pushcart ina neighborhood shopping mall and city shopping mall like orchard. A pushcart in Novena targets office people and a pushcart in cineleisure target young adults...
