  If you are..
  
  greedy
  dont know how to stop
  keep thinking you can win
  
  I know of a man who won over a million sg dollars in 4D in the 1980s. Today he is divorced, lives in a small flat and not well off.
  
  How did someone who lived in a condo, ended up so terrible financially?
  
  After he won, he thought it was very easy to win. He could spend up to $1000 on 1 number a day. So assuming he spent $1500 a day, $4500 a week, $13 500 in a month, just on 4D.
  
  What about his frequent drinking, possibly of expensive liquors, tobacco, (although it is cheap in the 1980s - early 90s) travelling aboard, and he probably had a kept woman outside.
  
  I believe he sold his condo in 1989 and moved to a smaller 3 room flat.
  
  Gambling can ruin you if you keep thinking you can win, and start betting in heavy amounts.

  2. Why is it that knowing "do not be greedy" does not help?
  3. How can you be a winner at gambling?
  4. Why is it that knowing how to "win" can in fact harm you?
  5. What are the roles that motivation and addiction play?

  Aiay...there are still ppl becoming rich thru gambling lor....only that they prefer to keep it to themselves lor...Onli all the losers will come out and say gambling ruined them

  Mathematical certainty that everybody loses to the casino and gambling operators... so on what basis do you make your claims that there are winners?
  
  Yes those who spend $1/ $2/- per week and hit Toto or big sweep and continue at $1 $2 after winning will end up winners.
  
  Other than that, there are no winners...

  SG Pools, sometimes when I want to throw away money I buy also, since they at least give away some of the money to charity...
