So i've just watched pirates of the carribean...

  And apart from the silly antics and non-stop action, did anyone understand the storyline?
  
  *SPOILERS*
  
  1) How come there was this weird squid face captain who appeared in the show? Who on earth is he???? And what's his animosity with Jack? (sorry if i didn't catch this bit of the storyline, but it must have been pretty ambiguous for me not to understand it)
  
  2) How come at the end of the show the old captain who Jack 'killed' at the end of Pirates I was revived again?
  
  3) What's can there possibly be at the end of the world?
  
  Until i get some answers, i'm leaving my rating at 3/5 stars

  the heart in that chest is the octopus guy the heart loh
  
  hmm regarding the dead captain, mus be the witch revive, i suppose she can revive jack too, and there mus be something about teh jar of dust that she gave him, maybe jack is still safe after he got eaten up becoz the dust got magical powers?

  bah guess we just gotta wait for the 3rd movie to come out, for now its just a blurr, like suddenly with the introduction of davy jones.. i was expecting Pirates 2 to have more of a bigger connection with Pirates 1

  I think that at the end of the movie, when all the pirates came back to life and ot killed/imprisoned, the pet monkey who was still a skeleton took one of the cursed aztec coins...

  first weird squid face captain is Davy JONES and CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow owes him a blood debt so he's back to collect it lah.

  He wasn't killed lah.
  and in the next movie, he's gonna team up with Will TUrner and Elizebeth Swann to rescue Jack against Davy and other baddies one of them is CHOW YUN FATT!

  3rd movie coming out next may! same as spiderman 3!
  OOOH! and Part 2 and 3 are more interconnected than part 1 and 2.
