I'm sure u guys are aware that ppl from other countries say that singaporeans are all very "kia su, kia si" . here's 1 incident that happened today to me that proves this point.
damn frustrating, today about to get down the bus from the upper deck that time an old auntie came to cut my queue to the staircase, read on b4 u say i too "small gas".
i was only 1 small step away from the staircaseand my hands were only a few inches away from the pole when all of a sudden this old auntie sitting just in front of the staircase, stands up and just rush in front of me to the staircase.i gave her the benefit of doubts that she was in a hurry for work so i let it pass off at 1st. But i was very wrong, after she got to the staircase she walks down slowly and even after the alight from the bus she was still strolling......
What the freaking hell is this old hag trying to prove???? that she beat me to the staircase thats pumps up her female egos.

You said old auntie? Just let her be. No need to get upset over such peanuts. Even if its little kids, or pai kias or even adults, let them be. Its always good to have a virtue to be courteous even if many Singaporeans do not actually preach that. I still see many Singaporeans standing infront of the MRT door openings when the passengers inside are about to alight. Its really a pity to see no courtesy in some of them.
BUT hey, I do see some people giving seats to elderly. One time I even saw a foreigner gave up his for an old woman. It puts many singaporeans in there to shame. I am not that courteous too, but I do try to give some elderly or needy take my seat.
All we need is one person to preach these in public transports and places and the others who see it will be more or less feel some shame and next time try to do so. It may not be true in many cases, but this is what we should do right? To preach what we practise on courtesy.

look at the many courtesy campaign that the gahmen have ran in the past 10 yrs. i seriously do not know what to say abt them. the old auntie i was refering to is still in the working class as she wears office wear hor.

i purposely trip that person infront of me when he did that to me. and he fell and rolled down the staircase. then i just said sorry when he looked at me like want to kill me.
