organising charity projects

  hello people, im looking for anyone who has organised or help to organise a charity project to raise funds be it through any forms of sale or performance etc.
  
  i'd like to get some advice, input and to know some of your experience? can pm me also yah... thnx!

  I organised such things for 3 years and got all burnt out.

  erm my budget is arnd 2-2.5k. I'm thinking of gathering volunteers and children to make handicrafts tgt and sell them. possible handicrafts i tot of: teddy bears, beanie babies, clay art etc.
  
  currently teddy bears are difficult and time consuming to make and the cost price is on the high side. im considering beanie baby as my 2nd choice
  
  sigh, one side of me tells me that charity sales is not gonna be fruitful given the skepticism towards charity that pple has nowadays. another part of me really wants to organise a project make it successful and contribute to a home or smthg.

  what charity is that? what scale u want for the fund-raising?

  u dun have to make things urself
  u have to source for sponsors and ask them to donate.....can be things, can be $$
  then u oso can use the money to buy things or hire help
  
  but of cos, u must give something in return like media exposure, having their company name publicised as a charity supporter that kind of thing
  
  or u can approacj those NPOs to work something out with them or leverage on them
